A group of our adult carers had a wonderfully festive day out last week.
We were very lucky with the weather and had sun shine all day, this also meant there was some gorgeous scenery on the way down through the lakes.
The trip started with a visit to the beautiful market town of Kendal, everyone went their own way for a wander round the shops, which all looked very festive, and a spot of lunch.
After lunch we returned to the buses and moved on to Hayes Garden World in Ambleside. The Christmas department was amazing and the stunning displays put everyone in a festive mood.
The bus trip home was very jolly with loads of Christmas songs and a beautiful sunset.
